Free, two-hour Look Good, Feel Better workshops are available each month in New Brunswick at the Moncton City Hospital, Hôpital Georges L. Dumont, Fredericton Medical Clinic and Saint John Regional Hospital.
These workshops are conducted by volunteer cosmetologists who receive certification in the special beauty techniques used in the Look Good, Feel Better Program. The program is dedicated to helping women living with cancer, learn special cosmetic techniques to help disguise the appearance-related side affects of chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
It is advised to pre-register. See the ABCN Events Calendar for dates and local contact information http://www.abcn.ca/Event_Calendar.php
Participants receive a complimentary kit of cosmetic products. Call 1-800-914-5665 for further information or visit http://www.lgfb.ca
