BCANS Car Magnets!

The BCANS website provides an entry to the many information and support services available, including the Atlantic Breast Cancer Net www.abcn.ca .  Display the magnet on your vehicle and help spread the word that a breast cancer patient/survivor need not feel alone.  Through the click of a website you can connect to a worldwide force of people - those diagnosed with breast cancer who understand, and articles from healthcare providers who are there to help us on our journey.

The ribbon image, being the teardrop shape, represents the tears shed at the time of diagnosis, the pink represents the women who are living with the disease, and the black is in honour of those who have died. The Challenge is to end the deaths so that we can remove the black lining and wear the pink ribbon in celebration.

The BCANS logo is based on the original teardrop ribbon created by Breast Cancer Action Ottawa. Permission to use the teardrop ribbon image was granted by Breast Cancer Action Ottawa.
